Hi,

I read with interest your comparison of VOIP products, which also included some SIP products ('Information about VoIP products and companies ' at the main URL, http://www.voipproducts.eu/), but was astounded that you did not include Gizmo. I could not make out from the various entries posted on the site in question the dates the entries were posted there (not very impressive, that!), but I will hazard the guess that they belong to the current year, 2006. Gizmo has been around for awhile. Also, Gizmo is now integrated with Google Talk (users of both P2P platforms can make free calls to each other, i.e., across platforms).

I have had Skype for about two weeks now and have done a lot of reading up, subsequently, with the result that I have also installed both Gizmo and Google Talk on trial basis. My ultimate aim it to find the best offering and then to persuade my friends to choose that one with me, which is why I take the trouble to "research" the topic. It is not helpful to run across a site like yours that seems so out-of-date.

Note that I am not in any way affiliated with Gizmo - my interests are purely neutral, except for the fact that I am looking for the best product, where one of the paramaters determining "best" is the platform's future potential, and here SIP seems to be in the lead. When you profile Wengo so favorably, which is a European SIP, but omit to mention Gizmo, which is an American SIP, I wonder if you yourselves are not being biased?

And the reason why I didn't include Gizmo project on this website up till now is that they don't charge their minutes in euros but in dollars which makes it a bit more difficult to compare (when you have excange rates that also vary from day to day).
That's why. I'll maybe include them in the future.
